A Great Way To Build Your List

I'm sure by now you've heard the phrase "The Money's In The List" and have hopefully realised the importance of having your own list of opt-in subscribers. That's all well and good but how to you build a list in the first place?

One of the best ways to build your list is to offer a free product to anybody that subscribes to your list. This could either be a product such as an ebook that you have created yourself or a product created by somebody else that you have giveaway rights to.

To collect subscribers you will need to squeeze page. This is a short web page that highlights the benefits of your free product and includes a form to collect their name and email address. You can see an example of a squeeze page here.

The form on your squeeze page so be linked to your autoresponder so that anybody who enters their details will automatically added to your list. There are several different autoresponders around but by far the best is AWeber. For just $19.95 per month (or even less if you choose to pay quarterly, semi-annually or yearly) you can create an unlimited number of autoresponders each with an unlimited number of follow up messages. There's also an easy to use form builder to create the HTML forms for your squeeze pages plus click tracking and graphical statistics that help you determine how effective your messages are.

In addition to an autoresponder such as AWeber you will also need web hosting to host your squeeze page. Again there any many different hosting companies out there but one you should definitely check out is Kiosk. In addition to all the usual web hosting features there are several tools especially created for internet marketers. Once you've got your squeeze page set up and linked to your autoresponder you will need to set up your autoresponder so that it automatically emails out the download link to your product.
